Nataniel Beck is internationally known for his work on the analysis of time series cross-sectional data. He is the author of many widely cited articles on research methods, has taught at the University of Michigan and University of Essex Summer School methodology programs, and has conducted numerous short courses at leading universities in the United States and elsewhere. Neal is a former editor of Political Analysis, the leading research methodology journal in Political Science, and is currently chair of the Department of Political Science at New York University.
