Professor B. Dan Wood, Department of Political Science, Texas A & M University will be doing the spring short course in research methods. The title of the course is: Maximum Likelihood Estimation, Count and Duration Models. Formerly an engineer with NASA, Professor Wood is a distinguished political scientist who regularly teaches advanced methods courses at the University of Essex Summer School and his home university. His many publications include articles in the American Journal of Political Science and numerous other leading journals.
